Raising Wise Children

29 Another translation says it this way – “My son, give me your heart and let your eyes observe my ways” (Proverbs 23:26, ESV). Here are the two sides to raising wise children once again. Wise children give their hearts to their parents and watch their ways closely so that they might learn to be wise. Parents and grandparents have the other side of the equation. We are to live in the grace of Jesus Christ and the fear of the Lord, so that our kids see in us a model they want to keep – not a cycle they want to break.
