6 How many of us are really wise according to God’s standards? How many of us never come up short when it comes to following God’s Word? How many of us always succeed in our relationships? How many of us never fail as parents? How many of us never fail as children? The best any of us can hope for is this simple statement I once saw on the internet, “ I myself am entirely made of flaws, stitched together with good intentions.” If you really understand your brokenness and inability to do anything about it, you come to the place the Apostle Paul knew so well about himself and those to whom he ministered. Paul wrote, “I want you to know how much I am struggling for you and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not met me personally.
