Thanksgiving is fast approaching.

How are we already here again? Wasn’t it just yesterday that we were gathered together with family and friends around our turkey-potatoes-cranberry-sauce-pumpkin-pie tables?

The years are flying by!

This reminds me how fleeting I am; how fleeting this life is; how this life is not really about this life.

So, with an eternal perspective on our minds and eternity in our hearts, let’s be even more intentional about our Thanksgiving gatherings this year. Instead of just making statements about what we’re thankful for, let’s make sure to point our families to the One who has given us what we’re thankful for.
